There have been a host of online retailers launching into physical retailing as of late, with fast-fashion giant Shein gearing up to launch concessions across France this month, while Asos opens yet another pop-up ahead of the peak trading period.
The never ending list of new store openings and pop-ups raises the question of why can’t online brands get enough of physical retail? And after over a decade of swinging towards online, has retail in general, and fashion more specifically, come full circle on stores?
